01Who processes the data

02What data we process

We do not use data for purposes incompatible with the purpose it was collected for. We do not sell data or use it for advertising profiles.
04How long we keep data
- registration data: for the season and then [period to be added, e.g. 12 months],
- results, rankings, recordings and highlights: for as long as the RiftLeague archive exists,
- payout data: for the period required by accounting and tax law,
- incident and penalty data: for the duration of the penalty and a necessary period after.
05Who we share data with
We share data only as far as necessary, in particular with:
- platforms we broadcast and publish on (Kick, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Discord),
- the bank we pay prizes through,
- our web hosting provider [provider to be added],
- tools we use for registrations and results [to be added, e.g. Google Sheets / Forms],
- public authorities where required by law.
Some of these services may process data outside the European Union under their terms and applicable legal safeguards.
06Website, cookies and players
The RiftLeague website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track your behaviour.
Your browser keeps a copy of public tournament data (schedule, ranking, clips) in local storage for a few minutes so the site loads faster. It contains no personal data about you.
Kick, YouTube or Twitch players load only when you click a video. From then on that provider's privacy policy applies.
07Your rights
Regarding the processing of your personal data you have the right to:
Exercise your rights by e-mail at [e-mail to be added]. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
08Minors
Players aged 13 and over may take part. For prize payouts to minors we may ask for a legal guardian's confirmation.
09Security
We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and only people who need it to run tournaments have access.
RiftLeague will never ask for an online banking password, PIN, login details or payment card number.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page. The competition rules are on the Tournament rules page.
